Plate Pattern — Full Fat Ventures, LLC

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Plate Pattern, a mobile app operated by Full Fat Ventures, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Plate Pattern, you agree to these Terms.

What Plate Pattern Does

Plate Pattern helps you capture, review, edit, save, view, repeat, and export meal information. The app may provide approximate AI-generated nutrition estimates from meal text, photos, or both. If you choose and the feature is available in your version, Plate Pattern can write nutrition from meals you save to the Apple Health app.

Not Medical Advice

Plate Pattern is for personal tracking and informational use only. It is not medical, nutrition, dietetic, clinical, diagnostic, treatment, or health-care advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Do not rely on Plate Pattern for medical decisions, dietary treatment, allergy management, eating-disorder treatment, medication decisions, or other health-care decisions. Consult a qualified professional for medical, nutrition, or health advice.

Approximate Estimates

AI-generated and app-generated values are approximate and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Hidden ingredients, portion sizes, preparation methods, restaurant recipes, mixed dishes, and image quality can affect estimates. You are responsible for reviewing and editing information before saving or relying on it.

Apple Health Sync

Apple Health sync is optional, write-only, and controlled through Apple's permission settings. Plate Pattern writes only nutrition categories you authorize and does not read Apple Health data. You are responsible for reviewing a meal before saving it and deciding whether to enable or continue sync.

Turning sync off or revoking permission stops future successful writes but does not remove nutrition already stored in Apple Health. Archiving or deleting a Plate Pattern meal, signing out, or deleting a Plate Pattern account also does not remove an entry already written to Apple Health. You can review and delete those entries through Apple Health.

Your Account and Content

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for meal descriptions, notes, photos, and other information you provide. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide that content and allow Plate Pattern and its service providers to process it to provide the app.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Plate Pattern for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, invasive of another person's privacy, or otherwise inappropriate.
Attempt to access another person's account or data.
Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or interfere with Plate Pattern or its systems.
Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.

Third-Party Services

Plate Pattern relies on third-party services for hosting, authentication, app distribution, analytics, diagnostics, and AI processing. Their availability and performance may affect Plate Pattern, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

Availability, Changes, and Termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue Plate Pattern or these Terms. You may stop using Plate Pattern at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that creates risk or legal exposure.

No Guarantees

Plate Pattern is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Full Fat Ventures, LLC disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and any other warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Full Fat Ventures, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of Plate Pattern, including reliance on nutrition estimates.

Apple Terms

If you download Plate Pattern through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard App Store terms may also apply. Apple is not responsible for Plate Pattern or its content, support, or claims except as required by applicable App Store terms.
